I have tried 3 times to send this in via TripAdvisor. They are the worst online travel site I have ever seen. They refuse to post this comment because I tried to do it on my stay in Lubbock at the end of January and again in March. I did it a third time and have heard nothing. Soooo look the next note here. I just wanted to express my appreciation for you people and the work you do... actual comment to follow. stopped here on business with my husband but it turned into a hospital stay of two weeks(my hubby). They have a saying at this play "There's no place like home...but we're close" They aren't kidding. From the moment we walked in until the day we left I was treated so wonderfully. Candi, Maggie, and Tiffany were just delightful. I have never met a manager like John Durst though. Every day he greeted us, chatted with guests. I observed how he treated others and I was amazed. He and the staff comforted a family who has lost their baby and an hour another family lost a loved one. There is John hugging and consoling them too. Then an elderly man came in who had lost his wife of 40 some years and there was John. The old man said the front desk made him dinner one night. Nice hotel, nice rooms, fantastic staff and a 5 star manager. Thank you!!!!
